Information we collect
Build stores account information, profile details, posts, projects, messages, files you upload, purchase and payout records, and settings you choose. With permission, the apps may access your photos, camera, microphone, or approximate location for features you initiate. We also collect limited device, usage, performance, and security data needed to operate and improve the service.
How information is used
We use information to provide accounts and social features, deliver uploads and messages, process creator payments, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and understand product usage. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.
Service providers
Build relies on providers including Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payments and payouts, and product infrastructure and analytics vendors. If you connect an AI provider or GitHub, information you submit to those features is also handled under that provider’s terms. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Build.
Control and retention
You can change profile visibility, remove content, or delete your account from Settings. We retain information while your account is active and as needed for security, disputes, tax, payment, and legal obligations. Backups and transaction records may remain for a limited period where required.
