Looking at grid 1: X-braces in bay B-C on both stories, running column base to beam-column joint, with the end frames on grids A and D braced in bay 1-2. Grids 1 and 3 carry the long-direction bracing and A and D the short, so the building is braced both ways with open bays between. Rendered straight from the model in Update #1. Schematic study, not for construction.

Every piece in the model, rolled up by piecemark straight from the scene, with weights from the AISC tables (length x lb/ft): - Beams and girders: 58 pieces, 55,220 lb (B1 W18x35, B2 W16x26 infill, G1 W21x44) - Columns: 12 pieces, 17,808 lb (C1 W12x53, 28' long) - Braces: 16 pieces, 13,577 lb (X1 HSS6x6x3/8; 33'-1 1/4" and 28'-7 13/16" diagonals) Total: 86,605 lb, or 43.3 tons, before connections. Plates, bolts and welds come with connection design. Schematic study, not for construction.

The whole frame, member by member, built with Anvil's BIM engine on real AISC section geometry. Drag to orbit. Grids A-D at 30' and 1-3 at 25'; Level 2 at 14', roof at 28'. - 12 W12x53 columns, two stories continuous - 16 W21x44 girders on the column lines - 18 W18x35 beams on the grid lines, 24 W16x26 infill beams at the third points - 16 HSS6x6x3/8 X-braces: bay B-C on grids 1 and 3, bay 1-2 on grids A and D, both stories Schematic study: member sizes are illustrative, not engineered.
